A new style, surprising shapes and vibrant colours in the 179 renovated rooms in the Starhotels Michelangelo in Rome, some with a view of St. Peter's Dome. They all feature a neat harmony of classical and contemporary elements. A triumph of colour all round, with a bold palette of ochre and red. Scenes from ancient Rome form a backdrop for the beds, with broad leather headboards up against walls decorated with drawings of famous sights, such as the Colosseum, St. Peter's and Piazza Navona. Like having a bit of the city in your room. Original fabric-lined screens reveal generously equipped wardrobes, complete with a safety deposit box. The flooring is wood-effect sandstone, while the coverings in the bathroom are travertine-effect sandstone. The result is both refined and high impact.
Classic Rooms
Functionality and elegance define the Classic rooms. Large drawings of famous places in the city frame the bedheads. The wardrobes have original and functional structures. Starbeds, available as a double bed or two singles, in every room, as well as everything else guests could need to feel at home.
